Inclusive Education – Outcome

Don’t get surprised with this topic, I heard this terminology from my wife since she is doing her PhD in this subject. Its all about including Physically challenged students with the normal students.
But the question still remains---- will any initiative yield positive result without actually putting soul into it. I mean to say the motive of those who are associated in this march towards inclusion.
The motive of social work is much more than just earning bread and butter. It’s being passionate about bringing change to the society without selfish motive.
But since basic needs as mentioned in the Maslow’s need hierarchy theory are itself not satisfied , its difficult for change owners to do a selfless job , which ultimate reflects on the outcome .
Special child needs someone special who really understands him and make him feel like a normal child . Therefore much is expected from the change owners. This reflects the chain reaction in which one need to take care of the other which would finally flow to the special child and we would be able to see the change.
Its not the responsibility of the NGO alone or the parents who are directly or indirectly affected, but we all are equally responsible to achieve the same and give special child a normal life to lead.
