खुश रहो

I am not sure what blessing you get when you greet someone , but in Bihar , the most common and obvious blessing is "खुश रहो " ...Be happy

When I used to call my mother , she used to say " खुश रहो बाबू "

The response was not robotic or obvious , but it did carry great meaning and power in itself .

You cannot ask for anything more than a blessing to be happy .

And  these blessing do work . I still feel blessed and every time I greet or touch someone’s feet , the response is deeply awaited as one’s life is not only derived by one alone but is an outcome of all the external forces that guide and laud your way  .
