Life Beyond Life & Death

Just sit alone in a room , with a light soft music on and dim light .Close your eyes and then “what next” ……what when no one is around and you are left alone .
Horrible experience …right ?
Life is just that …you come alone and you have to go as well . What next …is life after death . Will I be able to meet my dear once whom I have lost ??
Don’t know , but its strange to understand that someone next to you may be not there the very next moment .
May be that’s the reason Krishna mentioned “Attachment “ in Gita . A doctor is not able to perform operation on her daughter , although he may never have failed , only because he knows his hands would shake ….and this is because of attachment .
Attachment to any form …living or non living is a pain …and anyone who has lost someone special can understand.
I am also confused …what next ??????????

Society led by Corruption

I feel myself picked by the divine, with the life I am leading . At least it’s not daily work to have a bit of bread.
But there are thousands of people who live life at the edge, i.e. if they don’t earn on the day , they have to go to sleep without food.
The pity about the whole system now is that, the policy makers specially the politicians have become shameless and common human values are missing.
The root to all is corruption. How can we make the society a better place to live if corruption is at this level?
People responsible for this don’t understand that because of their shameless act, thousands of people suffer. But who cares in this selfish world.
No one has to ever go to bed, as there is no scarcity of resources, the only thing responsible is “A bad plan and policy “.
But this is difficult for the policy makers to understand since they have never experienced the same.
Its not a crime to be spared, but the maximum capital punishment would be endeavored to the person because of who someone goes to bet empty stomach.
Corruption has to be hold by the bulls horn, may be whatever it takes to do so.

Finally .... Bihar WON

My fear of Nitish losing the election ( even by mistake ) got over today morning with the news coming in that Nitish would be forming the new government , and that too with huge margin .
Even more happy news had been that Lalu’s era has finally come to an END . With mere 17-20 seats , which some time back we can’t even imagine, has come true .
So people of Bihar have voted for development , roads, education and peace of mind . Great show my people and I really feel out of this world today . This has been my dream for a long time that Bihar comes back on the development path .
All points goes to Nitish and the team for stealing the show for all good reasons . Keeping so low profile and so humble , I have a lot of repsetc for Nitish Kumar , who has actually showed how an ideal Neta should be . I also feel good the way media faverod the great Nitish , which helped in spreading his popularity . We have finally started behaving sensibly towards the need and demand of the mass which actually doesn’t know what is good for him.
Just pray that Bihar prosper more and more and we feel proud of being a “BIHARI”

Emotional for Bihar

Its election time again for Bihar and even not a part of Bihar now after formation of Jharkhand, I feel satisfied with the way Nitish government has performed in the last 5 years .
My only pray is that Lalu should not come back again even by mistake.
There are people who don’t even know what’s good for them which ultimately helps people like Lalu to come to power . We have to vote sensibly and help Nitish continue with the quality work he has been doing right now . Its exciting to see the changes he has done in the past 5 years which were not done in 15 years time .
Even though he might not be good in all the areas Nitish has worked on, but even a score of 10 on a scale of 100 is more than 0 which Lalu did in the last 15 years .
Hope to have a clear mandate for Nitish and party and may the good work continue

My Angle My Mother

It always happens in life, when you lose someone soo special, the only thing left is "memories".
Every day I go to bed and wakeup, with my mother at the back of my mind and there are always reasons which connect me to her.
Today morning as well, the old songs on TV connected me to her. She always used to be so excited hearing songs since she was always cheerful and delighted.
Even those happy days don’t make me happy any more.
Her smile, bangles, sindoor, yellow and red sari ....all just remind me of her lively act .She was the force behind all our actions .......but the truth is ....we have lost her.

THE MOTHER

LIKE a flame that burns in silence, like a perfume that
rises straight upward without wavering, my love goes to
Thee; and like the child who does not reason and has no
care, I trust myself to Thee that Thy Will may be done,
that Thy Light may manifest, Thy Peace radiate, Thy Love
cover the world. When Thou wilest I shall be in Thee,
Thyself, and there shall be no more any distinction; I
await that blessed hour without impatience of any kind,
letting myself flow irresistibly toward it as a peaceful
stream flows toward the boundless ocean.
Thy Peace is in me, and in that Peace I see Thee alone
present in everything, with the calm of Eternity.

Law - Lawlessness

The headline of news papers yesterday was, release of Ramalinga Raju from the jail on bail. The famous tainted founder of one time most admired company Satym Computers.
Its really horrible the way law works and shows the world that do what you want, but please don’t leave any evidence behind. With such a massive fraud, which actually damaged our nation’s global image, how can he be even send out on a bail?
This is sad and is sending wrong signal to the society. Thousands of people lost their hard earned earnings, many lost there livelihood, still the court didn’t had anything to prove guilty. I really wonder, cant we have exception for cheaters like Raju.
Its acceptable that no innocent should be declared guilty and so the law needs proof for everything. But cant we have exception, so that one things twice before doing anything as Raju did.

Indian Priority

Is really commonwealth games a nation pride??
I don’t think so .There are other things on high priority , but the way other issues are handled , seems we are only left with one issue , ie "Commonwealth games " . No one even bothers to see what’s happening around. Issues like Maoist , Leh mishap etc are far below on priority .
Its evident again that we hardly care for human life . National pride on the cost of common lives doesn’t makes any sense to me .
And the reason for all these is "WE"
We have really lost that emotional link in this fast moving world around us and that has made non emotional issues more important. We are more concerned about the result of a match or commonwealth games update rather than issues which should have actually touched us .
May be that’s the reason we are taken on ride now by the government specially on the rising prices, since they know, we are busy with something else and wont resent.

Ultimate aim of life

The soul derives immediate pleasure in righteous deeds (satkarma). After decease of the physical body, in jivas securance of emancipation (sadgati), the agency is again these deeds. Thus, both in this world (loka) and the other (parloka), inner happiness depends on acts of righteousness. The soul’s interest, therefore, consists in acquisition of spiritual merit (punya-prayojana). Interests of the gross body lie in a contrary direction; the external senses and the mind long for worldly enjoyments to the maximum possible extent. By adopting this course of action, man spends his whole life trying to satisfy the insatiable appetites of the mortal body and, in the process, goes on sinning and accumulating demerits. The senses do get entertained this way, but the soul has to suffer both here and in the hereafter. When interests of the soul are catered to, the body is put to discomfort. It has to endure the rigours of austerity, sacrifice, continence, sense-control altruistic service, charitableness etc. Thus, we find that interests of the body and that of the soul, are mutually exclusive; in the pleasure of one, lies the pain of the other.

One & Only Paulo Coelho

Amazing writer ….hehehe ..i know you might be thinking that Maneesh has started reading Angregi ( English ) books , but its not…the fascination is only due to my wife …who just loves reading his books and is mad about it.
I have also tried sometimes and its really amazing . He unknowingly touches your life and don’t even know when you have started following your dreams ( as he says ) . I have found that he talks a lot about dreams . May be its true not to give up on the dreams , just need to follow the signs .
About Paulo : Paulo Coelho was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He attended a Jesuit school. As a teenager, Coelho wanted to become a writer. Upon telling his mother this, she responded with "My dear, your father is an Engineer. He's a logical, reasonable man with a very clear vision of the world. Do you actually know what it means to be a writer?"After researching, Coelho concluded that a writer "always wears glasses and never combs his hair" and has a "duty and an obligation never to be understood by his own generation," amongst other things.

Who am I, Who are you & who is Thee

Life always seems to be a mystery. And then comes the usual question, why at all life???
Before leaving for Mumbai, just had a small chat with my father and he recalled of an old poem which he read years back. The poet narrates few lines and says, when I was small, I used to ask this question from my mother, and that question is still unanswered.
Who am I … Who are you ….Who is Thee
Three sentence, but can bring your life upside down.
Why there is a birth, why there exist death and who is there who manages the whole show. Can in my life time I can solve this mystery of knowing myself.
Swami Ramakrishna says: Why life should occur at all. Survival of the fittest does not carry us far. Life has little survival vale compared with matter from which it is supposed to have sprung. A rock survives for millions of years, while the oldest tree is few 1000 years old.
So all the human level evolution is governed and dominated by the power of spirit in man, not by material forces.

There Is Something In The Air

There is something between you and me . Life is empty without you and even breath is empty and lonely. Every thing is missing without you as you were always the reason for me being happy and complete.

Since you have left , there is no light and seems I am alone in the way. Every morning comes with a new though of yours , but now it doesn't makes me happy , but lost.

Lessons learned !!!

I did a mistake and the very next moment I understood that I have done a mistake. But more than that I know I have to take risk and if I do that probably I would face failure.
But I have learned a lesson. So does it mean I am maturing. “May Be Not “
The momentum with which we learn from our mistakes is far slower than the momentum with which the environment around us is changing. So may be the time I learned about “Hardworking “, it was already gone and “Smart working “ came into picture. So even though I learned, I was slower than the environment.
Now the question is how to keep pace with the factor, which is neither in our control nor predictable.
The only way is to become more adaptable and flexible to see through the future.

Best Example of PPP

Its almost 1 year of Satyam catastrophe , and I am very happy the way the company has restated it self in the industry with the help of Tech Mahindra .

But the over all credit goes to the 4 govt appointed members who did a fantastic job , and since Satyam holds a special place in my heart , I would like to thank them from within my heart . I always wanted Satyam to come back to normal and that’s the way it is today.

This is also a fantastic example of Public Private Partnership and can’t be seen any where in the world. Its only because the Govt took a rapid decision ,Satyam is saved today . People like Deepak parikh, Achutan , Kiran Karnik are legends in there areas and the way they brought Satyam back, we know why they are so special.

All I am today is because of Satyam, and so I just hope Satyam is back among TOP 3 in the industry .

New Year 2010 !!

Is it just a change of date??
Is the repeat ion of the same thing again??
May be not....
For me New is a set of new dates for self progress , ultimately effecting the whole lot of people connected with me .I have never being so excited about the new year celebrations or 31st or 1st dates, but yes...when it comes to commitment , new challenges , new dreams ...the new year motivates me to achieve them all.
At the same time , new year reminds me of my past mistakes and the things I have lost in the year passing by . Since my emotions are attached to my past, the passing year makes me sad more than the excitement of the new year.
But I know that the only thing constant in this universe is " CHANGE" , so no point going against the law.
So be ready for the change as it will happen whether we accept it willingly or unwillingly.
Happy New Year 2010 !!
