HOPE

Life is not a cake walk . Each moment poses a challenge from the surrounding and from within . With just one brain and one heart , we have to do multitasking . Papa always feel so positive about life although I know his life has not been easy . Full of struggle and constraints. But if you talk to him , its all positive ...full of  HOPE .
Hope ..... उम्मीद  .... जरुरी है जीने के लिए  ....hope for the better tomorrow ....happy tomorrow .... Self-actualized  tomorrow .

Its so easy to sit back and curse life for what and where we are today ...but it was all the reason of our own choices that we made .
Today and tomorrow will be the reason of our choices which we make today.

Let’s be hopeful ....that all mighty has something good stored for us and that’s GUARANTEED.

All That's Left Are Ashes

By Elton John
Nothing gained from being without a friend
I feel maimed tied to the misery
Living in the ruins of this hollow dream
Nothing turned out the way I planned it
Nothing's what it seemed
The hands that stir the embers
The sparks that start the fire
Passion can't control itself
And flames should warm desire

But there's nothing left but ashes
After the fire has gone
Oh little hot-white cinders
That we're walking on
But they turned to grey and blew away
And left us living on
There's nothing left but ashes
After the fire has gone
Traces are gone
Survival here's just hell
I look for comfort
In the core of my own shell
Scorched by your anger in this tragic scene
Nobody saw the punches coming
Nobody felt like me
The torch that lit your last words
The ones that burned me most
Arson is a crime that kills
Desertion can't be worse

Balance

The key to greatness lies in single word "Balance"
Its all a balance.
Balance work with family
Balance doing with thinking
Balance head with heart
Balance being friendly with being firm
Balance making it happen with letting it happen
It it easy ? NO
It is worth it ? Absolutely

Last Day Of My Life

Was reading The Mastery Manual by Robin Sharma .
Late Apple CEO Steve Jobs ,when in big dilemma or choice point in his life , asked a question "what would I do if this was the last night of my life"
The story of meeting his wife is also interesting
Steve was giving a speech at a university and spotted her in the audience . He met her after the event and wanted to take her to the dinner , but Steve had a critical business meeting . As he walked to his car , he asked himself "if this was the last day of my life , what would I do ?"
He ran back to the auditorium and found her . They were together since .
I love it

Meditation & Classical Music

Papa loves 2 things , meditation and Indian classical music , both instrumental and vocal . He practice them daily .
If you enter his room , its so charged and calm .....calm as if you have entered the cloud .
Classical music is a pillar of support, it gives inner peace. Every tune is so invigorating and infuses you with so much energy.
Music is divine and papa always says that “For me the very existence of swaras is proof of existence of divinity,”

I feel blessed to have a father like him .My world is so different when he is back with me .The way he look at this world is very different . All grounded , simple and positive .
Love you Papa

A Promise Is A Promise

Do you think before you make a promise to someone? What if you can’t deliver on your word? Does it really matter? The world isn’t going to come to an end, is it? Well, actually no, but have you thought ...

Many people are pretty casual about making promises. As a result, promises are frequently made with no real intention of keeping them. “Let’s go out for lunch,” “I’ll call you later,” and “I’ll be there in five minutes” are all examples of making promises that are frequently made but rarely kept. However, this casual attitude can have real consequences.

When you break a promise, no matter how small it may seem to you, it won’t sound high , but it can damage a relationship . Think about it when someone else breaks a promise to you, doesn’t that make you feel violated ?  You can’t help wondering whether you were wrong to ever trust that person.

After all  "A promise is a promise"
